SUMMER CAMP: BOOKS & COOKS (Grades K-2)

Calling all young readers and chefs! Books & Cooks Summer Camp brings stories to life through delicious, hands-on fun. Each day begins with an engaging read-aloud book, followed by a simple recipe inspired by the story.

Campers will mix, measure, stir, and create while building confidence in the kitchen and discovering how food connects to the stories we love. Along the way, children practice teamwork, creativity, and basic cooking skills in a fun and supportive environment.

From sweet treats to tasty snacks, every recipe is designed to be kid-friendly, simple, and full of fun. Between reading, cooking and enjoying their creations together, campers will experience the joy of storytelling in a whole new way.

SUMMER CAMP: STEM BUILDERS (Grades 1–3)

Get ready to build, design, test, and imagine at STEM Builders Camp! This hands-on camp is perfect for curious creators who love to tinker and explore how things work.

Campers will take on exciting daily building challenges using LEGOs, Magna-Tiles, Keva planks, recycled materials, and other creative supplies. From constructing the tallest tower and designing earthquake-proof structures to building bridges that can hold weight and creating marble runs with twists and turns, students will learn through experimentation and teamwork.

Each day will include: 1) Engineering challenges 2) Problem-solving activities 3) Team collaboration 4) Creative design time 5) Simple testing and improving (because real engineers revise!)

Campers will explore important STEM concepts like balance, force, stability, patterns, and design, all in ways that are developmentally appropriate, playful, and engaging.
